I noted your Google Chat communication option. Given the slow net out here, have you any experience with which chat systems seem most functional in our low bandwidth environment? Is Google Chat more functional than Skype? Are you using video/audio or text chat only? If the later, did anyone in the group try FaceBook chat? Is anyone using their cell phone to log on? I ask that last question because the new iLinks phone from FSMTC has brought functional GPRS/GSM to a price point below a hundred dollars. The students here have just learned how to log onto MySpace using that phone.
